Series

PRODUCED FROM 1946 TO 1951, these Lincoln bodies continued the pre-war styling of the 1942 models. Also known as LINCOLN CLUB COUPES, LINCOLN CLUB SEDANS, CLUB CONVERTIBLES, 66H, 76H, 876H, 9EL, 0EL, and the 1EL, the 1946 to 1948 Lincoln Series Coupe was virtually the same as the two door Continental of 1946 to 1948. The easiest way to distinguish a 1946 from a 1947 or a 1948 was to ask it’s owner. The 1949 Lincoln Series was three inches shorter than the previous model years and the 1949, 1950, and 1951 models shared a split windshield with Mercurys of those same years.
